Privacy Policy

We understand that privacy online is important to users of our systems, especially when conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of Transport Pro who visit our public website and those who register to use our online services.

Information we collect

We collect information to better serve our users. This may include what language you speak, which browser you use, user preferences, or what types of devices you use to access the Site, or other information. We use the information collected to deliver services, process payments, update our records, communicate with you about products and services, and generally maintain your accounts with us. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide you services, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and/or enforce our agreements. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at support@transportpro.net. We do not share, sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties except as described in this privacy policy.

Many online services require registration and login to access. Because of this, we may collect first and last names, company name, billing contact information, a password and a valid email address. Therefore, at a minimum, we may require such necessary information during the registration process to establish your account and login. If you choose not to register and/or create an account with us, you may not be able to access all portions of our site or online services.

Our Site and services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from individuals under the age of 18.

We collect information in two ways

  • Information you give us
For example, when you setup user accounts you may supply personal information such as names, telephone numbers, and email addresses. Other information entered into the Site may include information about your Customers, Carriers, contractors and/or financial information.
  • Information we get from your use of our systems
As you use the site we utilize technology to track your system usage so that we may better understand how our users interact with the system and provide direct feedback to our technical team for future system updates.
    • We may collect device information such as hardware model, operating system version, language, etc. We may associate these device settings with specific users of the Site or use similar web analytics tools.
    • We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using web browser storage and application data cache.
    • We use various methods of tracking user participation with the Site including multiple browser cookies, web beacons, mobile device IDs, or anonymous identifiers stored on your device.
    • We may use cookies to track user traffic patterns and hold certain registration information. A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them. We do not store passwords or any personal information about you in the cookies. Cookies are widely used, and most web browsers are configured initially to accept cookies automatically. The Help menu on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether. You can still review the website if you choose to set your browser to refuse all cookies; however, in most cases you must enable cookies in order to establish an account and to fully participate in our Site and online services.
    • We may also use log files so our server automatically recognizes the Internet URL from which you access our Site. We may also log your Internet protocol ("IP") address for system administration and troubleshooting purposes. (An IP address indicates the location of your computer on the Internet.) We don't link an IP address to any personally identifiable information.

How we use the information we collect

We use all of the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and enhance the services offered by the Site. We respect your privacy and do not share the information collected with anyone outside of our organization other than vendors who may assist us in providing products or services to you. For example, online services may be provided via a third party cloud-based infrastructure, and payment processing may be completed with a third party vendor. We will not otherwise share, rent, trade, or sell any of your information. Please note, however, that this policy does not apply to third-party services such as a load boards you may select to push your loads to. While we may provide access to these services as a courtesy to you, those services may be subject to separate privacy policies, and you are encouraged to review their policies prior to participating in any third party services.

  • We use information collected from cookies and other technologies to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services.
  • When you contact us we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you may be facing.
  • If you sign up for our services, we may use your name, trademark and/or logo in verbal, print, online, or other marketing or promotional activities designating you as one of our customers.
  • We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.

We encourage you to read such privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit. It is the sole responsibility of such third parties to adhere to any applicable restrictions on the disclosure of your personally identifying information, and we shall not be liable for wrongful use or disclosure of your personally identifying information by any third party.

Data Use after Acquisition

If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that may be transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer may continue to use your personally identifying and non-personally identifying information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. However, if we undergo a merger or if our assets are purchased by another company, the new company's privacy policy may govern the further protection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
